In this video soil impact to the metal plate in Abaqus by using SPH method has been simulated. The soil is modeled as three dimensional part with elastic–plastic behavior and smooth particle hydrodynamic formulation. Coulomb-Mohr plasticity is implanted for soil. To definite particle element edit input file capability has been used to change the continuum element to particle element. During explicit dynamic analysis soil causes deformation in the plate and after that the particle of soil separated from each other. You can see some figures of this simulation at below
