In this tutorial Simulation couple Eulerian Lagrangian explosion over concrete column with foundation in Abaqus has been studied.The concrete column and foundation are modeled as three dimensional part. The eulerian domain is modeled as eulerian part and TNT as sphere in it near the column. The beams as reinforcement are use in the concrete part as embedded region. For the beams steel material with elastic plastic data with damage behavior has been used. Abaqus gives some material models for concrete like CDP or Brittle which they are not appropriate for this simulation and progressive so in this tutorial Jonson Houlmquist material model is used which can be implied as a VUMAT subroutine or modify input file.
Dynamic explicit procedure and general contact as a interaction are used . To define eulerian material and TNT location inside the eulerian domain Volume Fraction method has been selected. Proper boundary conditions are assigned to the foundation and eulerian domain. Using the fine mesh has great effect over the result
